My wife called home on her way to work.She was distraught. “There’s a turtle upside down in the road and I was running so late I couldn’t stop.” I soothed her & said I would go right away to find it. I did. A whopping big snapping turtle, maybe 8-10 kilos and snapping. I pulled over, lifted it by its dinosaur tail, avoiding his very sharp jaws, and carried it across. I lay it in a ditch and within 15 seconds it was gone.
On the way home I saved two more. Turtle Savior for hire.
